Brendan Smith
Spending the last 20 years in and around specialty coffee, Brendan has the know-how to help get your business off on the right foot (or back on the right track). His most recent experience as Director of Retail Operations for Dancing Goats Coffee had him overseeing five cafes in Atlanta, GA, making all decisions regarding retail; from cafe buildouts, to personnel, equipment purchasing, vendor relationships, and drink menu design. Prior to this he worked as a wholesale rep for the same company, selling B2B, advising customers on coffee, forging relationships and growing awareness around the company's brand. He founded the St. Petersburg Craft Coffee Tour in 2016, a "pub crawl" type event for the public bringing groups to specialty coffee shops in the area, leading educational presentations, and introducing new people to the city's burgeoning coffee scene. The tour was highly acclaimed and featured in local TV, web, and print news, and making Brendan a sought-after expert on the local coffee scene. Brendan hopes to spread his love of coffee to others, and desires to help everyone have the best possible coffee experience.
